Positive and negative representation of women in the media

A positive representation of women in the media would be that FIFA introduced women into the game, showing that women's sport are increasingly growing in popularity. As well as video games showing a good side to women, many can be negative too. Female characters such as Lara Croft are seen as strong and capable but are also over sexualised in the game as they wear tight revealing outfits and have an idealised body.
